Annual Reports
Last 20 years annual reports are available with Parivarthana. The major achievements are as follows.
Achievements:
- Massive tree planting to conserve environment – so far, 7.25 lakhs (0.72 million) different variety forest tree saplings were planted in waste and vacant lands and in agriculture lands by involving 1350 farmers and in some school grounds by involving children and teachers. The overall survival plants are about 50%. The survived plants value is around Rs. 60 -70 Crores apart from other environmental benefits to the farmers and community.
- Agro-forestry & farm forestry encouraged by involving farmers to support environment protection and organic farming in 60 villages.

- Soil and water conservation activities were taken up in agriculture fields to conserve water & soil fertility in farmer’s fields.

- Organic farming – So far, 840 vermi-compost units use were encouraged by involving 840 farmers to adopt organic farming. Also encouraged bio – pesticides use for crop protection.

- Formation of women Self – Help Groups (SHGs) – 110 SHGs encouraged by involving 2000 rural women and initiated Income Generation Activities to minimize rural poverty. These SHGs are functioning effectively with the support of SHG federations and CBO without Parivarthan’s help since 8 years independently. These SHGs are managing Rs. 1.5 – 2 crores annually to meet their credit needs for various purposes.

- Rural Technology adoption – So far, 1800 eco-friendly fuel efficient chulas have been adopted for safe cooking and save fire wood.
- 23 Adult literacy centers were organized by involving 750 adult illiterate women to learn functional literacy.
- Health education and herbal medicine propagation work taken up in 50 villages to find solutions to their health problems based on traditional wisdom.
- Jatropha Cultivation – on pilot basis 13,000 Jatropha saplings planted by involving 28 farmers in 2 villages. Once the production of Jatropha seeds comes, it will be used for production of bio-diesel to run vehicles and irrigation pump sets etc.
