Applicant Background:

Born and brought up in rural agricultural family and has early education in native village Ganjalgud at Hassan Dist.  After that, he completed his graduation at Hassan and higher Education at Bangalore. He has  25 years of Rural Development Experience in NGO sector and has deep knowledge of rural Problems and issues.  He was the President of Fevord-K(Federation of Voluntary Organizations for Rural Development in Karnataka) for 2 years (2004-06)  and also he was the Chairman for CRRTD (Center for Research in Rural and Tribal Development) Mysore for 3 years.  He wrote books on Environment Issues, Vermiculture, Sustainable Agriculture and also Co-editor for “Adivasi: Baduku Bavane” (Tribal life and issues).  Apart from these, he wrote several articles on rural development issues in news papers and magazines, and also delivered talks  in AIR on rural development and environment  issues.

20 years experience in Parivarthana as chief functionary in organizing rural people, initiation of suitable development activities, designing suitable projects and  implementation, training and capacity building of staff and target groups, smooth functioning of administration and team leading for the cause etc.
